In 2008, I decided to create a free Black History Mixtape that I would promote and make available all year long. I decided to do this because I felt that the history of the culture that I come from was being lost, ignored, or never discovered.
I decided to make this mixtape an offering of music from different generations. I made this decision with the hope that various generations can learn from each other, and appreciate each others' art.
